JUNIOR BOY’S ACADEMY
Draft Prospects Talent ID Academy is a school holiday football program for boys and girls aged from 12 – 14, to prepare them for Development Squads, Futures, Rogers and Colts.
The FET Academy is WA’s solution to the lack of development opportunities available to Perth footballers. We know that young players aren't exposed to enough game time or structured training hours, and are often left with unqualified parents, or inexperienced coaches. This is a massive contributor as to why Australia has failed to produce players ready for the professional stage.
Our academy complements club training - offering up to 4 additional training sessions per week, plus competitive games against other WA clubs. This allows all young, dedicated Perth footballers the chance to keep up with those in overseas academies.
In the coming years, selected Academy players will be given opportunities to travel overseas and as we already have done so, interstate. Players will get the chance to play against professional academy sides and academies, allowing them to understand the baseline for top talent around the world. FET will also be hosting showcases, allowing our players to be seen by our network of international scouts.

COMPETITION
JANUARY 2026
The carnival is the finale to the 2025 football program. *The Rookie Me Youth Academy players are divided into teams, allowing players/teammates to compete against one another at an elite venue. This is an opportunity for players to apply their knowledge and showcase the skills learned throughout the 2024 program in a match experience.
For this age level, there is a unique opportunity for players to be selected to compete against other pathway programs. These players will be selected, based on their output in the program across the season.
Please note: *Rookie Me intends on having this event at a high quality venue such as a VFL venue. Also, we intend to invite a group of players to come into this event and compete against our players, these are yet to be confirmed.
